These Terms and Conditions govern your use of JM Rubbish Removal's services. By booking or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services

JM Rubbish Removal provides:

• Residential and commercial rubbish removal
• House clearance services
• Garden waste removal
• Construction waste disposal
• Furniture removal
• Same-day and scheduled removal services

All services are subject to availability and may be limited based on location, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

3. Booking and Quotes

• All quotes are estimates based on the information provided by the customer
• Final pricing may vary if the actual volume or type of waste differs from the initial description
• Quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise stated
• A booking is confirmed once both parties agree to the service details and pricing

4. Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing
• We accept cash, bank transfer, and other agreed payment methods
• Prices include VAT where applicable
• Additional charges may apply for hazardous materials, difficult access, or items requiring special disposal

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service
• Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price
• We reserve the right to reschedule due to adverse weather, vehicle breakdown, or other unforeseen circumstances
• In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange an alternative time

6. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you must:

• Provide accurate information about the type and volume of waste
• Ensure safe and legal access to the collection point
• Not include hazardous materials without prior notification (e.g., asbestos, chemicals, batteries)
• Ensure you have the right to dispose of all items
• Be present or arrange for someone to be present during collection

7. Prohibited Items

We cannot accept the following items without special arrangement:

• Hazardous waste (asbestos, chemicals, medical waste)
• Radioactive materials
• Explosives and firearms
• Toxic or corrosive substances
• Items that require specialist disposal under UK law

Please contact us in advance if you are unsure whether we can accept certain items.

8. Liability

• We are fully insured for waste disposal and removal services
• We take reasonable care to avoid damage to property during collection
• We are not liable for damage caused by inadequate access or hidden obstacles
• Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion
• Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided

9. Environmental Commitment

We are committed to environmentally responsible waste disposal. We recycle and repurpose materials wherever possible and dispose of waste in accordance with UK environmental regulations and licensing requirements.

11. Complaints

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
